حصد الفيلم المصري اللبناني "أرزة" جائزته السابعة، بعد فوزه بجائزة الجمهور في مهرجان مالمو للفيلم العربي بالسويد، ليواصل مسيرته اللافتة على الساحة الدولية.
وكانت النجمة اللبنانية دايموند بو عبود قد نالت في وقت سابق جائزة أفضل ممثلة من مهرجان هوليوود للسينما العربية عن دورها في "أرزة"، لتُضاف هذه الجائزة إلى سجل إنجازات الفيلم، الذي سبق أن فاز بخمس جوائز دولية، من بينها جائزتان في مسابقة "آفاق السينما العربية"، وجائزة يوسف شريف رزق الله لأفضل سيناريو.
على صعيد العروض الرقمية، يُعرض الفيلم حاليًا على خمس منصات عالمية في أمريكا الشمالية: iTunes، Amazon، Google Play، Xbox، وVudu، ليُصبح أول فيلم مصري يُعرض على هذه المنصات مجتمعة.
وقد اختير الفيلم لتمثيل لبنان في سباق الأوسكار لأفضل فيلم أجنبي، حيث اعتبرت لجنة الترشيح أن هذا الاختيار يُمثل "تكريمًا لروح وصمود الشعب اللبناني".
"أرزة" من إخراج ميرا شعير، وتأليف فيصل شعير ولؤي خريش، ومن إنتاج الشركة المصرية-الأمريكية Ambient Light للمنتج علي العربي، إلى جانب فيصل شعير، لؤي خريش، وزينة بدران، مع المنتج التنفيذي طارق النعمة. وتولى الموسيقى التصويرية الفنان هاني عادل.
يضم طاقم التمثيل نخبة من النجوم، أبرزهم: دايموند بو عبود، بيتي توتل، بلال الحموي، إلى جانب ضيوف الشرف: فادي أبي سمرة، جنيد زين الدين، فؤاد يمين، إيلي متري، طارق تميم، هاجوب درغوغاسيان، جويس نصرالله، شادن فقيه، ومحمد خنسا
وتدور أحداث الفيلم حول "أرزة"، الأم العزباء المقيمة في بيروت، التي تكافح يوميًا من أجل تأمين لقمة العيش لابنها كنان وشقيقتها ليلى وسط تحديات الحياة القاسية في المدينة.
Audience Grants Arza Its Seventh Award at Malmö Arab Film Festival

The Egyptian-Lebanese film Arza has secured its seventh award after winning the Audience Award at the Malmö Arab Film Festival in Sweden, continuing its remarkable international journey.
Earlier, Lebanese star Diamond Bou Abboud won the Best Actress Award at the Hollywood Arab Film Festival for her role in Arza, adding to the film’s growing list of accolades. The film had already won five international awards, including two in the Arab Cinema Horizons competition—one of which also went to Bou Abboud—and the Youssef Sherif Rizkallah Award for Best Screenplay.
On the digital front, Arza is currently streaming on five major platforms in North America: iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Xbox, and Vudu, making it the first Egyptian film to be featured across all of these platforms simultaneously.
The film was selected to represent Lebanon in the race for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards. The selection committee described the choice as “a tribute to the spirit and resilience of the Lebanese people.”
Arza is directed by Mira Shaer, written by Faysal Shaer and Louay Khreich, and produced by the Egyptian-American company Ambient Light, led by Ali El Arabi, along with Faysal Shaer, Louay Khreich, and Zeina Badran, with Tariq El Neama as executive producer. The original score is composed by Hany Adel.
The film features a stellar cast including Diamond Bou Abboud, Betty Taoutel, and Bilal Hammoui, with special guest appearances by Fadi Abi Samra, Junaid Zein El-Din, Fouad Yammine, Elie Mitri, Tarek Tamim, Hagop Derghougassian, Joyce Nasrallah, Shaden Fakih, and Mohammad Khansa.
The story follows Arza, a single mother living in Beirut, as she struggles against the harsh realities of life to provide for her son Kinan and her sister Layla.
