أعلن المخرج عادل حسان، رئيس المركز القومي للمسرح والموسيقى والفنون الشعبية، تفاصيل التعاون بين المركز ومهرجان القاهرة الدولي للمسرح التجريبي، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص بإعلان تفاصيل الدورة الثالثة والثلاثين من المهرجان، مؤكدًا أهمية توثيق الحركة المسرحية المصرية والحفاظ على ذاكرتها للأجيال المقبلة.
وكشف حسان أن المركز القومي للمسرح نجح خلال أقل من عام ونصف في تصوير وتوثيق 653 عرضًا مسرحيًا، شملت عروض المهرجانات، وفرق الثقافة الجماهيرية، والمسرح الجامعي، والمسرح المدرسي، في إطار مشروع يستهدف الحفاظ على المادة المسرحية بوصفها جزءًا أساسيًا من تاريخ الحركة المسرحية المصرية.
وأوضح أن التوثيق لا يقتصر على تسجيل العروض في وقت تقديمها، وإنما يمثل عملية لحفظ ذاكرة المسرح المصري وإتاحة هذه المواد للأجيال القادمة، بما يسمح للباحثين والمسرحيين والمهتمين بالاطلاع على جانب مهم من تاريخ التجارب والعروض التي شهدتها خشبات المسرح في مصر.
وأشار حسان إلى أن التعاون بين المركز القومي للمسرح ومهرجان القاهرة الدولي للمسرح التجريبي يأتي امتدادًا لجهود المركز في توثيق فعاليات المهرجان ودوراته السابقة، باعتبار المهرجان أحد أبرز الأحداث المسرحية التي شهدتها الحركة المسرحية المصرية على مدار أكثر من ثلاثة عقود.
«يوم المسرح المصري».. احتفاء بخمسة مخرجين
وفي إطار التعاون بين المركز والمهرجان، أعلن عادل حسان أن فعاليات الدورة الثالثة والثلاثين ستشهد الاحتفال بـ «يوم المسرح المصري» يوم 5 سبتمبر، وذلك بمسرح معهد الموسيقى العربية، من خلال احتفاء خاص بعدد من رموز الإخراج المسرحي المصري، وتسليط الضوء على تجاربهم وإسهاماتهم في مسيرة المسرح المصري.
ويشمل الاحتفاء خمسة مخرجين هم: حسام الدين صلاح، هشام جمعة، حمدي أبو العلا، عبير علي، ومحمد جبر، تقديرًا لما قدموه من تجارب وإسهامات في مسيرة المسرح المصري.
كما أعلن حسان أن الكاتب محمد سلماوي سيكتب كلمة «يوم المسرح المصري»، لتكون جزءًا من الاحتفاء الذي يقام ضمن فعاليات الدورة الثالثة والثلاثين من مهرجان القاهرة الدولي للمسرح التجريبي.
ويأتي تخصيص يوم للاحتفاء بالمسرح المصري ضمن برنامج المهرجان تأكيدًا على أهمية استعادة ذاكرة التجارب المسرحية المصرية، والاحتفاء بصناعها، بالتوازي مع انفتاح المهرجان على التجارب المسرحية العربية والدولية.
وتعكس الشراكة بين المركز القومي للمسرح ومهرجان القاهرة الدولي للمسرح التجريبي تكامل الأدوار بين التوثيق والاحتفاء من جهة، والبحث والتجريب والانفتاح على التجارب العالمية من جهة أخرى، بما يتيح الحفاظ على ذاكرة المسرح المصري بالتوازي مع تقديم حاضره ومستقبله.

Director Adel Hassan, Head of the National Center for Theatre, Music and Popular Arts, announced details of the cooperation between the Center and the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre during the press conference held to announce the details of the festival’s 33rd edition, emphasizing the importance of documenting the Egyptian theatre movement and preserving its memory for future generations.
Hassan revealed that the National Center for Theatre has succeeded, in less than a year and a half, in filming and documenting 653 theatrical productions, including festival performances, Cultural Palaces theatre productions, university theatre productions, and school theatre productions, as part of a project aimed at preserving theatrical material as an essential part of the history of the Egyptian theatre movement.
He explained that the documentation process is not limited to recording performances at the time they are presented, but is part of an effort to preserve the memory of Egyptian theatre and make these materials available to future generations, allowing researchers, theatre practitioners, and those interested in the field to access an important part of the history of theatrical experiences and productions presented on Egyptian stages.
Hassan noted that the cooperation between the National Center for Theatre and the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre comes as an extension of the Center’s efforts to document the festival’s activities and previous editions, given the festival’s position as one of the most prominent events in the Egyptian theatre movement over more than three decades.
“Egyptian Theatre Day”.. Honoring Five Directors
As part of the cooperation between the Center and the festival, Adel Hassan announced that the 33rd edition will celebrate “Egyptian Theatre Day” on September 5 at the Institute of Arab Music Theatre, through a special tribute to a number of prominent Egyptian theatre directors, highlighting their experiences and contributions to the history of Egyptian theatre.
The tribute will honor five directors: Hossam El-Din Salah, Hisham Gomaa, Hamdy Abu El-Ela, Abeer Ali, and Mohamed Gabr, in recognition of their theatrical experiences and contributions to the Egyptian theatre movement.
Hassan also announced that playwright Mohamed Salmawy will write the statement for “Egyptian Theatre Day,” which will be part of the celebration held during the 33rd edition of the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre.
The inclusion of a day dedicated to celebrating Egyptian theatre within the festival’s program underscores the importance of revisiting the memory of Egyptian theatrical experiences and honoring their creators, alongside the festival’s continued openness to Arab and international theatrical experiences.
